A Brief History
Formally known as the 1799 Ascutney House Restaurant, it has been a trade-mark to the area. It was open for many years as a restaurant, tavern and inn. Ascutney House has been completely refurbished to be a residential care home. Visitors and patrons will immediately feel the character of the old building along with aspects of the remodel. An elevator was installed but much of the building remains the same.
Ascutney House a residential care home owned and operated by Jennifer Silva, RN. Jennifer also owns and operates the Davis Home in Windsor Vermont and Brookwood Senior Care Home located in North Springfield Vermont , which too is a historic home catering to the needs of older adults.
